Card Information: Held in: MANCHESTER NYNEX ARENA Location: MANCHESTER, ENGLAND on April 16/2001 at 8:00pm The show started off with highlights from last nights King of the Ring Pay Per View. The show opens and Norm comes out to brag or whatever. Then "My Way" by Limp Bizkit hits. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Terminator walks out. Terminator: NORM! I have had it! I've been in this fed for how long now?! Six years now, hasn't it? And look where I am. I'm not a top title contender. I'm not a main eventer. And I'm not your right hand man!! I'm just your frickin jobber!! But I DON'T THINK SO!! Not anymore! King of the Ring was the last straw! I want my payback. And I want it NOW! Norm: Listen Terminator, not everyone can win at a pay per view. The guys that are most important to the company are the ones that can do the job! Just calm down, we can book you into a mid-card match for next week. What do you say? Term: Uh-uh. Not gonna happen Normie! I'm not taking anymore of your crap. I'm dishing it out to you now. I'm issuing you a challenge. You against an opponent of MY choosing! AND...as an added bonus, I'm gonna choose the special referee! Norm: I think that you are going overboard here. I will fight who ever you want me to and if I win you have to job for the next two months. Term: Fine with me. Term starts walking away, and turns around to add... Term: Oh yeah. And the winner of that match gets a WORLD TITLE SHOT!! Have a nice day!! Owen Tucker made Norm Robitza submit to the Canadian Deathlock in 0:14:57. Rating: **** 1/4 (Blade Tucker no-showed.) Click here to see highlights. Blade Tucker didn't arrive until half-way through the match. He had complications getting to the arena. His brother, Owen, took on Norm Robitza in this match. Robitza just happens to be Owen's godfather. Owen Tucker defeated Robitza to claim the Cruiserweight title and the Tucker Boys took the mic to talk about how they would win the International tag team titles tonight. Table No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Four Corners Match for the vacant ICW hARd coRE tiTLe: Razor defeated Cage, EvilBolt and Saddam: x Razor beat Cage via putting him through a table in 0:04:10 x Saddam beat EvilBolt via putting him through a table in 0:07:42 x Razor beat Saddam via putting him through a table in 0:10:22 Rating: *** 1/4 (Razor won the ICW hARd coRE tiTLe.) John Hambly came to the ring and did a promo on being the World Champion and proving putting Mike Poster out of wrestling. VenoM came out and told Hambly that he better remember that tonight he would be defending that World title and that he would be seeking revenge for his father. Jason Quackenbush defeated Kingpin by countout in 0:09:18. Rating: *** (Kingpin retained the ICW World Television Title.) Click here to see highlights. Kingpin walked out of the match to get counted out thus retaining his World TV Title. The Other Realm declared that they would only defend the ICW World Tag Team Titles against teams that could prove that they deserved a shot. Therefore, unless a team could defeat them in a NON-TITLE match, they would not get the shot. Non-Title-Match: The Other Realm defeated Destruction, Inc. when A.O.D. pinned Destructor with the The Crucifixion in 0:08:02. Rating: ** In the middle of the card, Term walks around in the backstage area and selects Jaker D as the special ref. Ladder No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Ladder Match: The Tucker Boys defeated Suicide Blondes in 0:06:21. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Tucker Boys won the International Tag Team Titles.) The Tucker Boys did as they promised and became the International Tag Team Champions. Is this how the ICW staff is rewarding them for not going to the CWA on an exclusive contract? [Semi-Finals]: Norm Robitza made Jaker D submit to the Canadian Deathlock in 0:10:40. Rating: *** 1/2 [Semi-Finals]: Cage defeated Kingpin by countout in 0:14:28. Rating: **** 1/4 Click here to see highlights. Jason Quackenbush came to the ring and helped Cage defeat Kingpin via countout. [Finals]: Match for the vacant International Title: Norm Robitza pinned Cage after a small package in 0:10:09. Rating: *** 1/4 (Norm Robitza won the International Title.) Norm Robitza claimed the ICW International Title after defeating Cage. Robitza took the mic and told the ICW that he would defend the title in both the ICW and the CWA. He also promised to have a big surprise for all his CWA fans on Thursday Night. Jaker D runs to the ring in a ref's shirt. Then Terminator comes out. When he comes out he makes an announcement... Term: Oh Norm! Its time for YOU to get jobbed this time. You see Norm. There has been TWO guys that you've actually been afraid of in the ICW's history. The first was me. But there's also...the second! The Titantron switches to a burnt title. Then the letters C I J C D in blue go to the center as "Whatever" by Godsmack hits the PA. Norm stands in shock as he waits to see his opponent rush out from the aisle, but gets jumped from behind instead by the "Canadian Icon" Jean-Claude Dafoe! Non-Title Match: Jean-Claude Dafoe defeated Norm Robitza after a Midnight Sunset in 0:8:15. Rating: **** Terminator goes to the ring and they both hit the Iconizer. Then Dafoe grabs a mic and says... Dafoe: I guess its true what they say....PAYBACK IS HELL!!!! VenoM defeated John Hambly by disqualification in 0:19:41. Rating: **** 1/4 (John Hambly retained the ICW World Title.) Click here to see highlights. VenoM defeated John Hambly via DQ. Hambly locked VenoM in the figure four around the ring post and would not let go on the referee's orders. VenoM wins the match but not the ICW World title. This year's King of the Ring might have suffered an injury as he was helped to the back by EMTs.
